The tiny little outfits are washed, the capsule is in the car and the change table is stocked with nappies, wipes and balm. Baby could come at any time now and every morning Adam and I wake up wondering if today is the day…
These final weeks of pregnancy are a strange time. I’m so excited to meet our little person, but at the same time I’m trying to make the most of these quiet moments where I have the house to myself and can spend my days on my timetable. As one season of life draws to a close, another is about to begin in earnest.
This will be my last blog post for the next little while. I’ll be taking a brief hiatus from writing while Adam and I relish our final days together as a couple and we settle into life as a family three. I will of course let you know when baby arrives, but at this stage I’m not quite sure what guise this blog will take into the future. I know I’ve loved sharing snippets of my life over the last few years and I’d really like that to continue. I’ve got no doubt I’ll continue to post little updates on my Instagram page – so please keep in touch!
In the meantime, here’s a look back at some of my favourite posts:
- That time I moved to England
- That time I stayed in a stone cottage owned by Beatrix Potter
- Those times I went to Gibraltar, Latvia, Iceland and South Africa
- That time Adam and I camped our way through northern Scotland
- That time I moved back to Australia
- That time I got engaged
- That time I got married
- That time I got pregnant
Have a wonderful weekend. x
Wishing you an easy labor and a healthy kid.
